The comprehensive interface for integrating the electronic signature:
Highlights of the Signature API:
- Comprehensive integration: The Signature API is suitable for building an advanced e-signature system. It inserts the biometric data and the signature’s image into PDF/A documents and links them to the document in a tamper- and theft-proof manner using HASH algorithms and asymmetric encryption recommended by the Federal Office for Security in Information Technology.
- Maximum safety: Highest security standards thanks to bi-asymmetric encryption. Signature pad & software-side encryption of biometric data up to 4096-bit RSA. If the document has been tampered with, this can be detected immediately in the integrated verification module of the Signature API. This means that it is not possible to change the document after it has been signed without this being detected during a check.
- Biometric data: In addition to the static typeface of the signature, which is visibly inserted into the document by the Signature API, the biometric data is encrypted and embedded in the document in a compressed form. These are the vertical, horizontal and pressure components as well as the temporal data, incl. acceleration.
- Compatibility: Compatible with StepOver signature pads (except NG Pad series). Document viewing mode and signing in the document are possible (valid for any StepOver signature pad with color screen).
